So who are we? Teens Group is a fellowship group of Chinese Christian Church for teens ranging from grades 7-12. We meet on Friday nights at 7:30 for fellowship and to further our study of the Bible. We frequently have Saturday activities as well, including road trips, skiing, and ice-skating.

What are our beliefs? We believe that each person is born with a sinful nature that separates us from God and that only through the Son of God, Jesus Christ, who died for our sins, can we have everlasting life and unity with God. “For God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life” (John 3:16 NIV). We also believe that if we’ve accepted Jesus Christ into our hearts, we will be with Him someday in heaven. Physical death is not the end for us. We also believe in the Holy Trinitity; that is, we believe that the Father (God), the Son (Jesus Christ), and the Holy Spirit are equal but simply have different roles.

God has brought us through many obstacles and adventures. Last summer, He provided us with two dedicated interns, Kevin Tom and Edwin Lui. During the past few years, God’s given us leadership through several others, including Jimmy Lee, Dorothy Chen, and Clarence Chiu, who has served with us a mentor, coordinator, and friend. They are joined this summer by Peter and Solomon, both TG alumnists. God has also used us in exciting ways; for instance, the missions trip we are about to undertake.

While each and every person at Teens Group is clearly an individual, we all make up the body of Christ. Neither one’s nationality, past, nor any factors now have any importance. “There is no Jew nor Greek, slave nor free, male nor female, for you are all one in Christ Jesus” (Galatians 3:28 NIV). Amen.
